(Houston- Nov. 16, 2017) The 23rd National Warbird Operator Conference (NWOC) will be held February 15 – February 18, at the Hilton Houston NASA Clearlake in Houston, Texas. NWOC is a unique educational conference offering programs to enhance pilot skill and knowledge, expand aircraft maintenance technician and restorer knowledge, develop awareness of medical and insurance facts, and address aircraft-specific topics to ensure continued flight for these unique historic aircraft.
The NWOC is not a required conference for Commemorative Air Force members, but it is focused on Warbird issues that are relevant to the CAF, and once again, CAF proud to be a supporting sponsor and we encourage our members with the availability to attend and take advantage of a few days in Houston to talk about their operations and issues with fellow CAF members and others operating similar equipment in the breakout sessions for Bomber/Transport, T-6s, T-28s, Fighters and LHFE.
NWOC is a terrific opportunity to mix and talk with fellow Warbird operators and hear presentations on relevant subjects, including the most recent FAA updates, the latest of ADS-B, legal issues and much more. 2018 speakers represent a diverse variety of subjects geared toward Warbird owners, from Lee Lauderback of Stallion 51 to Cory Graff, military curator of FHCAM to Dr. Susan Northrup, FAA Senior Flight Surgeon and many more.
For 2018, NWOC admission will be $400 through January 15th, $450 from January 16th through February 14th and $500 the day of the event. The hotel rate is $105 standard with upgrades available.
